Louise is like the beating heart of Compass, bringing warmth, love, and life to her teaching every day. She has been with the school since its early years, teaching math, science, and art in both the middle and high schools, while also providing an endless supply of creative ideas and solutions to help the school evolve and grow while maintaining our core identity. Compass would not be what we are today without her!
Louise is busy again this year, teaching 9th & 10th-grade science classes along with geometry and algebra II. Perhaps her most cherished role is as an advisor, this year for the junior class. She has led many international trips in her time at Compass, and the juniors are so lucky to have her leading the way on their upcoming trip to Puerto Rico in the spring. Louise is beloved for her energy and compassion and has taught our community so much, students and faculty alike.
